Wear Strips, Guide Rails, Liner Strips, Support Strips
Wear strips for conveying (also known as guide rails, liner strips, support strips) are essential supporting parts for automated conveying systems. They are usually extruded strips made of engineering plastics such as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, nylon and polyoxymethylene. Installed on the guide rails, frames, guards and running tracks of chains or mesh belts, they act as buffer supports and friction contact surfaces between conveying media (mesh belts, slat chains, chains) and metal frames. Their core functions are to reduce friction and noise, protect conveying components and extend equipment service life, making them indispensable wearing parts for automated production lines in food, packaging, automotive and other industries.
Product Features
Extreme Wear Resistance and Impact Resistance
Made of high-wear-resistant engineering plastics with wear resistance several times that of ordinary plastics, they withstand long-term high-frequency friction and material impact, effectively avoiding direct wear between conveying media and frames and greatly prolonging the service life of key parts such as mesh belts and slat chains.
Excellent Self-Lubricating Property
The material features great self-lubrication, enabling low-friction operation without additional lubricating oil, significantly reducing conveying resistance and energy consumption while lowering operating noise and improving the workshop environment.
Strong Environmental Adaptability
Oil-resistant, acid and alkali-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, they operate stably within a temperature range of -50℃ to 80℃, adapting to complex working conditions such as washing in food workshops, oil contamination in automotive workshops and dust in logistics sorting.
Lightweight and Easy to Process
Much lower in density than metals for easy handling and installation; they can be freely cut, drilled and bent to fit guide rail structures for straight, turning, lifting and other conveying scenarios.
Application Industries
Food and Beverage Industry
Used with mesh belt / slat chain conveyors for straight and turning conveying on production lines of canned drinks, bottled water, fruits and vegetables, baked goods, etc., meeting food-grade hygiene requirements while being washable and corrosion-resistant.
Packaging and Logistics Industry
Applied to express sorting lines, carton packaging lines and daily chemical product filling lines to reduce friction between slat chains / modular belts and frames, improving stability and efficiency in high-speed sorting and packaging.
Automotive Parts Industry
Providing wear-resistant support for conveying lines of automotive seats, interior parts, tires and other components, adapting to oily workshop environments, reducing maintenance frequency and ensuring continuous production.
Other Industrial Scenarios
Used as guide liners and chain guide strips on automated conveying lines in electronics, home appliances, pharmaceuticals, textiles and other industries, suitable for clean workshops, low-temperature / high-temperature and other special production environments.
